Abrazo West Introduces Advanced Rehabilitation Technologies to Enhance Patient Recovery

Abrazo West’s new inpatient rehabilitation facility in Goodyear, Ariz., welcomes advanced therapy technologies designed to help patients recover mobility, strength, and cognitive function following stroke, neurological injury, orthopedic surgery, and other complex medical conditions.

This new equipment enhances the hospital’s ability to provide cutting-edge rehabilitation care by combining technology, functional electrical stimulation, and interactive therapy platforms to accelerate recovery and improve patient outcomes.

New Rehabilitation Technologies Include:

  • Bioness H200 Wireless Hand Rehabilitation System and L300 Go
    Functional electrical stimulation devices designed to improve daily tasks and increase independence
  • Bioness Vector Gait and Safety System
    Overhead gait training system with dynamic body-weight support, fall protection and improves endurance
  • LiteGait Body Weight Support System
    Body-weight support device used with treadmill for walking therapy after stroke, injury, or surgery
  • Bioness BITS Balance System
    Interactive platform combining cognitive, visual and motor training

Abrazo Health’s new Litchfield Medical Building is a first-of-its-kind in West Valley, combining medical offices and an inpatient rehabilitation hospital under one roof.

The 46,000 square-foot, 24-bed private room facility expands access to high-quality rehabilitation and outpatient medical services in West Valley. It is designed to support a seamless transition from acute hospital care to the next phase of recovery for patients recovering from strokes, neurological disorders, cardiac conditions, traumatic injuries, and more.
