Piedmont Medical Center Rock Hill Completes 5,000th da Vinci Robotic Surgery
Piedmont Medical Center Rock Hill in South Carolina recently celebrated a major milestone in providing minimally invasive robotic surgery care to patients in York County and beyond. The Rock Hill surgical team recently completed its 5,000th procedure using its da Vinci Robotic Surgical System.
The da Vinci Robotic System assists surgeons with general surgeries, including gynecology, urology, bariatric surgery, and others. Since the medical center’s first robotic-assisted surgery with the da Vinci Robot in 2014, more than 5,000 lives have been impacted by this technology and the talented team dedicated to patient care. As a market, Piedmont Medical Center has completed more than 6,000 surgeries with the assistance of the Da Vinci Robotic System.
