The Hospital of Providence’s Linda Lawson recognized as a woman of impact in El Paso

Linda Lawson, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, The Hospital of Providence’s Group Chief Nursing Officer, was recently named as an El Paso Inc.’s 2022 Women of Impact in El Paso honoree.

El Paso Inc.’s Women of Impact list recognizes outstanding El Paso women who have made a real and significant impact on the local community and inspired the next generation of leaders. Dr. Lawson joins five other honorees recognized for their impact in El Paso across health, education, community development, and more.

Dr. Lawson has more than 30 years of operation and nursing experience, during which she served in various leadership positions, including chief nursing officer and administrative director of nursing operations, cardiovascular services, and clinical quality outcomes. As the group chief nursing officer at The Hospitals of Providence, she oversees patient care and outcomes across the organization.

Additionally, Dr. Lawson is an executive nurse fellow alumnus with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and is a magnet appraiser for the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program. Linda has a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Executive Leadership from Texas Tech University Health Science Center (TTUHSC) at Lubbock, a Master of Science in Critical Care from University of Massachusetts Boston and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at El Paso.
