USPI launched a number of new service lines within its ambulatory surgery center (ASC) platform in the first half of 2022. These new services will enhance the company’s offering across joint replacements, rhythm management, interventional pain management, sleep apnea and complex spine procedures. In addition, USPI added new robotics programs in several of its markets.

“We are pleased to offer these new services to meet the growing needs of the communities we serve,” said Peter Blach, Chief Operating Officer for USPI. “We continue to expand value-based services through our ASC platform, enabling us to provide more options for safe and lower-cost care from the convenience of an outpatient setting. We have an active business development platform and look forward to introducing additional offerings throughout the rest of the year and beyond.”

Across USPI’s portfolio of more than 450 ambulatory surgical facilities, the company provides services for patients across orthopedics (including total joints), spine, pain management, ENT, gastrointestinal, ophthalmology, urology and other specialized services. The size and experience of USPI in developing and operating ambulatory facilities enables the company to achieve high patient satisfaction and excellent clinical outcomes.
