Growing Our Business

Tower Health and United Surgical Partners International (USPI) have announced the formation of a joint venture designed to expand Tower Health’s network of ambulatory surgery services.

The joint venture plans to acquire and develop ambulatory surgery centers in Southeastern Pennsylvania with a goal of improving access for patients to high-quality, high-value surgical procedures.

“Tower Health is committed to strategic growth that provides high-quality, value-based healthcare to the communities we serve. The joint venture with USPI will help to support the continued development of the most appropriate setting for surgical services to best serve our region in a cost-effective manner,” said Clint Matthews, President and CEO, Tower Health.

Brett Brodnax, President and Chief Development Officer of USPI, said, “We are very excited to work with the Tower Health team and area physicians to develop and deliver an expanded outpatient surgical services network. Our mission to treat each patient as if they were a member of our own family pairs perfectly with Tower Health’s mission to provide compassionate, accessible care to their communities.”
