We are pleased to announce that Tenet is hosting its second-annual National Blood Drive, now through the month of October.
Last year, Tenet facilities answered the urgent call for blood donations in the wake of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria, followed by the devastating fires in California and the horrific tragedy in Las Vegas. The generosity of colleagues, physicians, volunteers and neighbors replenished blood banks with 900 units of blood after the significant depletion due to these unprecedented events.
Tenet colleagues are coming together once again to host blood drives across the country, including the September 26 blood drive at the corporate office in Dallas.
“Continuing to serve our communities in this manner truly aligns with our mission,” said Eric Evans, President of Hospital Operations. “And, by supporting our local blood banks, we help to meet not only a critical need, but one that is constant.”
