Sandi Karrmann, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Tenet Healthcare and United Surgical Partners International (USPI), has been named to the Dallas Business Journal’s 2018 list of Women in Business.

“Sandi has done a phenomenal job supporting fellow colleagues both here in Dallas and across the country, by spearheading and executing various programs to enhance talent development, recruiting, performance measurement and culture,” said Ron Rittenmeyer, Tenet’s Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “Sandi is an incredible leader, and we look forward to her continued contributions and counsel on the HR operations of the Tenet enterprise.”

This year, the Dallas Business Journal recognized 30 women for their work, leadership and contributions within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The honorees serve at large and small companies within various industries, such as healthcare, financial services, commercial real estate, and non-profit.

“Sandi has been a great leader, colleague and friend for many years,” said Bill Wilcox, a Vice Chairman at Tenet and the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of USPI. “She has taught us a lot and made meaningful contributions at both USPI and Tenet. We are fortunate and honored to have her as a senior executive on our team.”

The honorees were recognized at an awards luncheon held on Thursday, Aug. 23 in Dallas.
