Becker’s Healthcare recently named Marsha Powers, senior vice president and chief strategy officer for Tenet, to its list of 100 Great Leaders in Healthcare. Leaders on this list were recognized for their efforts to improve the quality of care and to solve the toughest problems in healthcare today.

Becker’s noted that Marsha is a veteran healthcare executive with more than 30 years of experience. “Ms. Powers exhibits a talent for developing high-quality, niche healthcare programs while focusing on market share growth, physician recruitment and quality patient care,” said Becker’s.
Marsha has been with Tenet since 2007 and prior to her current role, she served as chief executive officer of both the former Florida Region and the Eastern-Region Coastal Division, where she oversaw the direction, strategy and operation of 17 hospitals. She was awarded the 2016 Federation of American Hospitals Corris Boyd Leadership Award and has been recognized as a Power Leader by the South Florida Business Journal.
