Four Tenet hospitals received Healthgrades’ 2018 Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence™, which recognizes hospitals that exhibit comprehensive and consistent quality across a range of conditions and procedures.
The award is presented to hospitals that are rated in the top five percent for lowest mortality and complication rates across at least 21 of 32 common inpatient conditions and procedures, according to a Healthgrades analysis.
The honorees include Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach, Florida, MetroWest Medical Center–Framingham in Framingham, Massachusetts, MetroWest Medical Center–Leonard Morse in Natick, Massachusetts, and Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts. Delray Medical Center is one of just four hospitals in the country that have achieved this clinical excellence recognition for 16 consecutive years.
“People in our community have a choice as to where they will go for their care, and this recognition is confirmation that our hospital has proven to be one of the best in our area when it comes to clinical excellence,” said Mark Bryan, CEO of Delray Medical Center. “Accolades such as this make us unique to our patients.”
