Breast cancer screening with tomosynthesis, when combined with a conventional 2D mammography, has a 40-percent higher invasive cancer detection rate than conventional 2D mammography alone.

Tenet colleagues across the country wrapped up another successful year of the Healthy Over Hungry® Cereal Drive with more than five million servings of cereal collected and nearly $380,000 in contributions, which includes Tenet’s $100,000 challenge grant. The fifth-annual cereal drive, which ran from June 1-8, benefited Feeding America and more than 100 local food banks and pantries in the communities we serve.

This new system aims to provide better outcomes for patients undergoing a limb-lengthening procedure.
