Our Commitment to Quality®

Healthcare is changing. And at Tenet, we have a plan to lead that charge.

How? By making safety, service and industry-leading clinical outcomes the cornerstones of our mission. By seeking to provide high-quality, high-value care backed by compassionate service. By giving our caregivers the tools, technologies and resources they need to deliver the best care possible. By always doing what’s right for our patients, our employees and our communities.

Our Commitment to Quality® honors the trust that our patients and communities place in our hospitals, outpatient centers, physician practices and other care facilities. It's at the core of everything we do and every decision we make.

Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs)

Tenet’s accountable care networks have joined more than 9,500 physicians in local care delivery organizations that strive to:

  • improve quality, efficiency and coordination of care;
  • increase collaboration and alignment among physicians and hospitals; and
  • establish innovative relationships with physicians, payers, employers and patients

We are engaged in nearly 80 value-based contracts with the nation’s leading healthcare purchasers. Our value-based contracts include 73 commercial payer agreements and nine* Medicare ACO programs, serving more than 670,000 individuals. These arrangements are structured to deliver an improved, more comprehensive care experience at a lower cost by accessing resources and best practices from across the company and rewarding physicians and hospitals for quality care improvements. Tenet provides the clinical and operational infrastructure, as well as payer contracting best practices to enable the success of the ACOs.

Through our ACO strategy, we are proud to be recognized as a national leader in care innovation and to help people in the communities we serve live happier, healthier lives.
