Rhonda Sausedo | Chief Nursing Officer
Rhonda Sausedo knew she wanted to be a nurse since she was in high school because of her love for helping people. She has been a nurse for more than 40 years and spent more than two decades at Placentia-Linda Hospital caring for the Orange County community. Now, as the hospital’s CNO, she is responsible for caring for patients and her fellow nurses.
Rhonda’s passion for caring for people has given her all the motivation she needs to keep fighting the Coronavirus pandemic, but with it comes sacrifice. Since her elderly mother lives at her home, she has taken several precautions and kept her distance. Despite this, nothing will keep her from showing up at the hospital the next day to continue doing what she loves – caring for the sick.
In a recent interview with Spectrum News 1, she said, “It’s very rewarding because service is important in life.” She added that there are days to cheer and days full of tears, but every day she is a nurse is a day for which she is thankful.
