Ashleigh McDonald, OR Circulator at USPI’s Baylor Scott and White Surgical Hospital at Sherman in Texas, was placed on the COVID unit at the Detroit Medical Center upon arrival.
“I have seen a lot of sickness and healing, and I have witnessed an extraordinary bond between healthcare workers from all over the country working together to save patients, giving our all to complete strangers,” shared Ashleigh. “I have never been so proud to call myself a nurse.”
