More Than Healthcare.
Community Care.

Tenet Healthcare is woven into the fabric of the communities we serve. Our hospitals. Our outpatient centers. Our people. We’re all part of the greater good. That’s why we’re committed to making a difference in the lives of others. We do this both by providing exceptional care, and by supporting our communities as volunteers and good corporate citizens.

We know that in order to move health forward, we must give back.

Giving Back

Charitable Contributions

Tenet is proud to give back financially to nonprofit organizations, such as the American Heart Association, March of Dimes and Clinton Health Matters Initiative, helping those in need live happier, healthier lives.

Volunteerism and Fundraising

As a company of passionate caregivers, helping others is at the heart of what we do. That's why our employees volunteer thousands of hours annually and raise critical funds for the underserved, making our communities better places for all to live.

Community Outreach

Going out into the community to help others is a priority — that's why our facilities and employees regularly share their time and expertise. Each year, we provide thousands of free screenings at local health fairs, host numerous educational seminars and search for ways to empower the people in our communities to live happier, healthier lives.

At Tenet, we are committed to helping people live happier, healthier lives. And we know we know that good nutrition is crucial to good health.

That’s why we are excited to host our national Healthy Over Hungry® Cereal Drive from June 2 - 9, benefiting Feeding America and more than 70 food banks and pantries across the country.

Our 80 hospitals are proud to be a part of this summertime initiative to provide a nutritious breakfast for those struggling with hunger in our community - many of whom are children who can no longer rely on their schools for meals during the summer. Last year, we raised 2.2 million servings of cereal and $240,000. This year, Tenet is again issuing a $100,000 challenge grant to assist with the purchasing of perishable food items, such as milk and bananas, to help complete a healthy breakfast. Thank you for joining the fight against hunger!

Caring for Uninsured Patients

Every patient deserves to be treated fairly and with respect, regardless of their ability to pay. This is why we were the first major hospital network to offer innovative solutions to uninsured and underinsured patients through our Compact with Uninsured Patients.
