Working with an annual allocation, each of our hospitals, and regional offices collaborate with the Foundation staff to provide grant support to organizations that best meet the guidelines of the Foundation.
By December 2004, the Foundation (since its inception in June 1998), gave more than 8,700 grants totaling over $50 million to charitable organizations. These donations range from funding a faculty mentor program to keep at-risk nursing students in college to providing a sonogram machine for pregnant women at an indigent clinic.
Grants are issued in the following categories: health and wellness, health education, human services, education, civic and community, and arts and humanities. You can determine your organization’s eligibility by taking our Online Grant Eligibility Quiz.
