The CNO will provide leadership for the nursing and professional staffs of this highly regarded, community-focused hospital to ensure consistent, high-quality care delivery in a cost-effective manner. This challenging position requires significant experience in a similar role in an acute care hospital environment.
The successful candidate will be a results-oriented, sophisticated professional with experience in driving improved patient and physician satisfaction while managing costs. This is a solid opportunity for a results-oriented nursing executive who thrives on continually enhancing the quality of care delivery. Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice.
Academic degree in nursing required (Bachelors or Master’s degree).
Masters degree in Nursing or related field required (Health Administration, Business, Public Health, or management).
5 Years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as an Associate Chief Nursing Officer or Nursing director of multiple, complex nursing departments.
Current CENP or NEA certification preferred.
Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven leadership ability and hospital operational expertise.
Ability to serve as role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
