DALLAS – June 30, 2008 – Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: THC) today announced that company subsidiaries have completed the previously disclosed sales of two acute care hospitals in California – 167-bed Garden Grove Hospital and Medical Center and 93 - bed San Dimas Community Hospital – to Prime Healthcare Management, Inc. of Victorville, Calif.
The sales prices totaled approximately $41 million, and the proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
