Tenet Comments on Impact of Hurricane Wilma
 

DALLAS - Oct. 25, 2005 – Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: THC) announced today that its 14 acute care hospitals in south Florida sustained varying degrees of damage as  Hurricane Wilma passed through the state on Monday.  However, the company said no injuries or deaths occurred at the hospitals as a result of the storm, and all have remained open on emergency back-up power until municipal power is restored.

Tenet said many of the hospitals had broken windows, damaged roofs and other adverse effects on their physical plants, but all currently have adequate drinking water, food and medical supplies and none have been evacuated. 

Tenet’s acute-care hospitals in south Florida are:  150-bed Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Weston, 256-bed Coral Gables Hospital in Coral Gables, 372-bed Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach, 459-bed Florida Medical Center in Ft. Lauderdale, 341-bed Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach, 378-bed Hialeah Hospital in Hialeah, 324-bed Hollywood Medical Center in Hollywood, 332-bed North Ridge Medical Center in Ft.
