The Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis reports directly to Tenet's Chief Financial Officer.  He or she has overall responsibility for developing the company's short- and long-term financial plans, and identifying opportunities to improve the company's profitability.  Medicare reforms and other federal and market changes in healthcare provide an environment of continuing challenge where this Vice President can have a significant impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of Tenet's financial planning function.  The VP is charged with overseeing the development of improved analytical processes across the company and will provide support and direction to regional and hospital-level finance executives as well as corporate operations and financial leaders.
