Description
The Senior Director, ASC Development will be responsible for leading the acquisition and development efforts for joint-ventured ambulatory surgery centers. This includes developing a pipeline of acquisition/development opportunities, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, conducting financial assessments of the projects, monitoring the diligence process and ensuring a successful operational transition. Additionally, the Director will provide guidance and assistance to Tenet’s hospital operators with recommendations to improve hospital-based outpatient surgery program growth.
Other key Duties:
Develop a plan to enhance the acquisition and development pipeline for Tenet’s Ambulatory Surgery Center business.
- Identify offensive market opportunities, as well as provide marketing and branding support.
- Work with Legal on the development of LOI, OA, MSA and MDA boiler-plate documents and negotiation framework. Serve as a lead in structuring partnerships and joint ventures on behalf of Tenet’s Outpatient Services Division.
- Partner with the surgery center management team to conduct physician presentations/JV negotiations.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates are required to have an undergraduate degree, with a Master’s degree, preferably in Business or Healthcare Administration, a definite plus. Minimum of five years of ASC development experience is required.
