Trevor Fetter, president and chief executive officer of Tenet Healthcare, participated in a panel discussion during the 2014 Clinton Foundation Health Matters Conference.
Tenet is proud to be the presenting sponsor of the third annual Clinton Foundation Health Matters Conference: Activating Wellness in Every Generation.
This conference is the annual convening of the Clinton Health Matters Initiative (CHMI), which aims to identify innovative approaches to improving the health of individuals and communities, and then scale those measures to impact a greater number of people. By renewing our sponsorship, we continue to highlight our national efforts to improve the health of the communities we serve.
Tenet's participation in the 2014 Clinton Health Matters Conference:
We are especially pleased that our two Coachella Valley hospitals will host ancillary events in conjunction with the conference this year. JFK Memorial Hospital will co-host a “Day of Action” with Chelsea Clinton on Monday, January 13 to help revitalize a low-income neighborhood. Additionally, Desert Regional Medical Center (DRMC) will host a breakfast on Wednesday, January 15 at the Desert AIDS Project in Palm Springs with President Clinton. The breakfast will highlight DRMC’s participation in the “Get Tested Coachella Valley” initiative that will bring free, anonymous HIV testing to all local residents through a mobile medical clinic and other public outreach efforts. For more information about this year’s conference or the CHMI, please visit www.clintonfoundation.org/our-work/clinton-health-matters-initiative.
